From April 7th to 11th, 2025, the 2025 David Medical International Engineers Workshop, themed “Global Unite for Medtech Mastery,” was successfully held in Xiangshan, Ningbo. Nearly 40 medical engineers from around the world gathered to explore new futures in medical science and technology applications.
Opening Address Set the Course Forward
At the opening ceremony, Mr. Dingyu Lin, Deputy General Manager of David Medical, delivered a welcome speech emphasizing the core objective of “driving clinical value innovation through technological collaboration”, and highlighted the crucial connecting role that the international engineering team plays in the full-cycle service of medical equipment. Mr. Lin expressed his hope that this workshop would help establish a global technical collaboration network, injecting continuous and powerful momentum into the development of neonatal medical equipment toward precision-oriented and intelligence-oriented directions.
Technology Empowerment Built a Solid Foundation for Development
The conference focused on core products including infant incubators, radiant warmers, jaundice treatment, and neonatal transport solutions, establishing systematic training modules covering everything from in-depth analysis of equipment performance parameters to detailed explanation of standardized operating procedures, to comprehensive interpretation of hospital infection prevention and control programs. The clinical engineering technician team provided on-site demonstrations of key equipment maintenance points, combined with in-depth sharing of typical malfunction cases, comprehensively enhancing participants’ management capabilities across the full life cycle of medical equipment.
Intellectual Exchange Broke Through Challenges
During the open discussion sessions, international engineers engaged in profound dialogue around critical issues such as NICU clinical compatibility of equipment and emergency scenario response protocols. Through sharing their valuable experiences, engineers formed several highly feasible technical optimization recommendations during these exchanges. These recommendations would provide fresh perspectives and directions for enhancing the efficiency of global neonatal rescue equipment.
Innovation Leadership Envisioned the Future
David Medical’s newly launched neonatal brain protection diagnosis and treatment solution and next-generation transport solution were undoubtedly highlights of the workshop, attracting significant attention from all participants. Through immersive operational demonstrations, a few breakthrough technologies including AI temperature control algorithms and multimodal monitoring were brilliantly showcased, providing more reliable and efficient solutions for the neonatal care field, demonstrating David Medical’s innovative strength and leadership position in the medical science and technology domain.
Closing Outlook, Building a Long-term Platform
At the closing ceremony, Sales Director Ms. Ping Liu stated: “The close integration of global standards for technical services with localized practice forms the solid cornerstone for the steady advancement of David Medical’s internationalization strategy.” Ms. Liu highly commended the professional contributions of the participating engineers and announced that David Medical would establish a regularized international technical exchange platform to continuously promote two-way empowerment between clinical needs and technological innovation, injecting lasting momentum into the development of global medical science and technology.
This workshop adopted a dual-track model of “theoretical training + practical discussion,” creating an open and diverse international technical exchange ecosystem. In the future, David Medical will continue to uphold the concept of open cooperation, joining hands with global partners to empower clinical development through innovative technology, contributing more wisdom and strength to protecting the health and lives of newborns and patients worldwide.
